Supermarket forced to apologise for ACT leader David Seymour

The Nawton community was deeply offended by MP David Seymour’s presence at the FIFO Hamilton store opening on the 4th May, prompting the supermarket to issue an apology.

The appearance of Minister Seymour at the ribbon-cutting ceremony has angered many in the community, leading to a boycott of the FIFO store. The ACT Leader’s interpretation of the Treaty of Waitangi principles has been particularly unpopular in communities like Nawton.

Many onlookers were unimpressed with the Minister’s presence as a special guest at the official opening of the FIFO Hamilton store.

Minister Seymour has been asked to provide a comment for the incident but has declined.
