  2. The ability for governments to legislate a multi billion dollar business, targeted at the unborn and children of the poor, uneducated and indigenous families in countries of Canada, United States of America, Australia and New Zealand, has it’s roots in capitalism and colonisation, and still exists today.

Every one of these countries was invaded by Britain, who used a proven formula, first introduced were the missionaries, then came the magistrates and then the military. The results are the devastated, the homeless and the indigenous deliberately impoverished.

The results are seen in the high numbers of inter-generational indigenous peoples in mental health institutes, prisoners, and suicide victims, and the graves of the young.
It will only stop when we Honor Te Tiriti- and acknowledge the harm the colonial laws perpetuate in New Zealand today. Interestingly- the descendants of the missionaries are the richest families in New Zealand today. .
